How to Create a Sticker from a Photo

A good digital sticker keeps the subject clear at small sizes. This workflow takes only a few minutes and uses the free browser editor.

1. Choose a clear source photo

Start with a sharp photo where the person, pet or object is easy to recognize. A simple background gives the sticker a cleaner silhouette.

2. Upload and frame the subject

Open the photo sticker maker and upload a JPG, PNG or WebP. The editor crops the image to a square so it stays useful in chats and social posts.

3. Add a readable border and caption

Use a white border for dark chat backgrounds or a darker color on light layouts. Keep captions short so they remain legible when the sticker is displayed small.
